A Japan-based strategic acquirer with existing operations across LED lighting, retail and e-commerce, and IT services and systems integration is seeking acquisition and investment opportunities in ASEAN, India and China. The buyer is targeting businesses aligned with its existing operations and strategic expansion priorities, particularly in carbon-neutral products, IT solutions, business process outsourcing (BPO), cybersecurity and infection-control technology.
The buyer is open to both minority and majority investments, with a preference for established businesses generating annual sales of JPY 500 million or more, although smaller opportunities may also be considered. The mandate focuses on expanding existing business capabilities and entering higher-growth markets through strategically aligned acquisitions.
