Deal Details

• The company manufactures a wide range of pharmaceutical formulations for domestic as well as overseas customers.
• They manufactures 3 types of products-
  a. Tablets- The production Capacity is 5 Cr per month per shift
  b. Capsule- The production capacity is 4 Cr
  c. External (Like tubes, bottles)- The production capacityof tubes is 15 lakhs and bottles is 7.5 lakhs.

Tablets-

• Granulation-The plant has two Fluidized Bed Dryers (FBD) each of 60 kg. The same is supported by the RMG 120 kg and Octagonal Blender of 1:500 liters. Generally, a lot of 60 kg takes 1.5 hours for processing, i.e. shifting to mixing in an Octagonal blender. As two FBDs are available simultaneously, a batch size of 120 kg is being processed on a real-time basis. In one shift of eight hours, a minimum of five such lots of 120 kg each can be processed. Thus, the final output of the granulation section of granulated powder is 600 kg.

• Compression- The plant has two stations of twenty-seven machines. The average of the above three comes to 50,000,000

Capsules-

• Filling- The plant has one AF90 Capsule Filling Machine and two Hand Filling Machines. The combined capacity of same per shift is of eight lakh units.

• Primary Packing- The plant has two Alu – PVCs, one Double Track Alu & one Strip (10 track). The total primary packing capacity is of 90,000,000 tab/capsule

External (Cream, Ointment & Gel)-

• Manufacturing-The plant has a manufacturing vessel of 300 kg. Generally, it takes up-to two hours to process a single batch. In a single sift, three batches are processed. Thus, the output capacity is of 900 kg.The average total production capacity is 1,500,000 tubes.

• Filling: Cream / Ointment / Gel- The plant has two filling machines.The filling capacity is 1,500,000 units

• Manufacturing: Liquid-The plant has manufacturing vessel of 125 Litre, 300 Litre & 500 Litre. Generally, it takes 1 hour to process a single batch. In a single sift, minimum of six batches are processed. Thus, the output capacity is of 5,550 Litre.

• Filling: Liquid-The filling capacity is of 750,000 bottles
